Join me for a monthly moment of peace! New virtual guided meditations via Zoom.

Welcome to the latest Emma's Yoga Hut blog post!

I hope this blog post finds you well and happy! For a while now I have been wanting to extend a guided meditation practice out to all you lovely people; a way of gathering together in a slightly different way. It has been a while in the pipeline as I got my head around the technology of offering Emma's Virtual Yoga Hut, but more importantly whilst I thought around what might be most helpful in peoples lives. So, I am delighted to be offering a new monthly guided meditation ritual to help you unwind, to calm the nervous system, and to ease you gently to deep relaxation from the comfort of your own home via Zoom.

Welcome to Emma's Virtual Yoga Hut!
Welcome to Emma's Virtual Yoga Hut!

This lovingly curated event will be held monthly - sometimes a Thursday (like in April – just in time for the long Easter weekend!) sometimes on a Friday as a way to unwind at the end of the week, and sometimes on a Sunday to help wrap up the weekend and give you the best chance of being calm and rested for whatever Monday might bring! Some guided meditations will be designed for sleep, some will focus on specific seasonal support, others might shine a light on specific areas like managing stress and anxiety.

I am fully trained and qualified to offer both Yoga Nidra and guided meditations and, like absolutely everything I offer, this a trauma informed meditation. Trauma awareness is an area I specialised in whilst studying for my 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training qualification. Trauma aware yoga or meditation practice recognises that all of our bodies carry a history, and that some of that history might hold distress or trauma for people. To help negotiate and manage this all our practices offer choice, gentleness, and respect for personal boundaries. In practical terms it looks a bit like this:

  • You can choose how to participate—there’s no pressure to close your eyes, take a certain position or even stay on the call!

  • The meditation will be guided with sensitivity, predictability, the structure and pattern will be clearly communicated ahead of time and during the meditation.

  • There key focus of the guided meditation will be upon supporting your sense of safety, agency, and a feeling of grounded connection with your body.

If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of then READ ON!

BEDTIME YOGA NIDRA FOR SLEEP

Thursday 2nd April 930pm – 10pm £7, with access to the recording included for 1 month

Via Zoom.

On the eve of the long Easter weekend 2026 I offer you all a bedtime Yoga Nidra guided meditation. Yoga Nidra is a guided, deeply restful meditation that is practised lying down – in this case you can even join tucked up comfy and cosy in bed, in your softest pyjamas! I mean, what is not to like about a yoga practice that you do in bed? Fully accessible yoga for all - no matter what is happening in their body. We will begin with a gentle grounding welcome and arrival before moving into a soothing journey through the body and breath leading you to a place of deep rest and relaxation for sleep.

Our first Guided Meditation will be on the eve of the long Easter weekend 2026

The session is just 30 minutes making it easy to weave into your bedtime or evening plans. And if you cannot join live, you will still receive a recording of the meditation to use for a few weeks whenever you need extra support with your sleep or bedtime routine for 4 weeks afterwards - until our next guided mediation session!

At the end of the meditation I will simply wish you a goodnight and disconnect from the call. There is nothing you need to do, so if you have fallen asleep there is nothing to worry about as the session will automatically end as I disconnect.

I’d absolutely love to have you here for this cosy, nourishing end of the day ritual.

I hope to see you there!

With love,

Emma xx
